The Ukrainian Film Days in Oslo is taking place

The Ukrainian Film Days are taking place in the capital of Norway (Oslo) from January 17 to 28, featuring screenings of feature films, documentaries, and classic works, as well as panel discussions and workshops for both children and adults.

The opening film was the Ukrainian-Norwegian documentary Fragments of Ice directed by Mariya Stoyanova.

On January 18, within the event, films supported by the State Cinema Agency of Ukraine were screened:

  • Rock Paper Grenade/Felix and Me by director Iryna Tsilyk
  • The Slovov House by director Taras Tomenko

The Ukrainian Film Days in Oslo are dedicated to the memory of Viktor Onyshchuk, the film editor of Fragments of Ice, as well as all the artists who have died as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian cultural initiative group in collaboration with Indie Film and supported by the Fritt Ord Foundation.
