This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, at the UN headquarters in New York, answering journalists' questions.
"We are delighted with the text of the draft resolution on the occasion of the tragic anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which Russia is trying to thwart with all its might," the minister emphasized.
He said that the UN General Assembly is preparing to vote on February 23 on the Ukrainian draft resolution regarding Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine: "The document will mainly demand from the Russian Federation the complete withdrawal of its armed forces from the territory of Ukraine, the cessation of hostilities, and will also establish the key provisions of the Formula peace of President Zelensky".
"There is a fierce behind-the-scenes struggle, but despite the efforts of Russia and its satellites, who are trying to oppose the adoption of the resolution by introducing amendments, using all available procedural tools, we are sure that the Ukrainian resolution will be successfully voted on tomorrow," Dmytro Kuleba said.
The minister assured that Ukraine and its partners are consistently building a comprehensive international system that will allow Russia to be held accountable for crimes against Ukraine.
