Neil Crompton has been appointed as the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Ukraine.

This was reported on the website of the British government.

“Neil Crompton, Companion of the Order of the British Empire, has been appointed His Majesty’s Ambassador to Ukraine. He will take up his duties in October 2025,” the UK government stated.

Crompton has worked at the British Foreign Office since 1995.

From 2020 to 2025, he served as the UK’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and from 2015 to 2019, he held the position of Director for the Middle East and North Africa Directorate.
