The collection titled "War Scenes" includes twelve photographs from various locations affected by Russia's aggression in Ukraine.

"Tragedies have multiplied after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. This year, the situation has not improved. In 2023, Russian strikes targeted agricultural infrastructure and cultural heritage sites," the explanation accompanying the photo materials reads.

"According to the United Nations, the restoration of the cultural sector alone will cost $7 billion over the next decade."

The first "headline" photo captures the damaged Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in the center of Odessa, which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage.

The photos show, among other things, damaged residential buildings in the Chernihiv region, Irpin, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and other cities and villages. They also depict the work of UN organizations providing humanitarian assistance and the activities of deminers clearing land near the front lines.
