The head of Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that Ukraine is allegedly a threat to the Russian people, and called for "doing away" with the Ukrainians. In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that in two years, Ukraine will not exist at all on the world map.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov commented on the statements of the head of Roskosmos Dmitry Rogozin and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev about Ukraine.

Danilov voiced his opinion on the air of the informational telethon.

"These are their dreams - they are known. I can say that they started trying to destroy our state quite a long time ago. They, of course, do not quite succeed, and therefore they are already moving to the extreme stage. All masks have already been dropped, and there is nothing to hide. Even Putin says they are taking away their territories while they consider the entire territory of our country to be theirs. This is no longer some kind of struggle for the Donetsk or Lugansk region, for some other territories. They are already directly saying that the destruction of our territory and our nation is their number one task," Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that the story of Russia's attempt to destroy Ukraine has been dragging on for many years.

"The active phase began in 2004 after the elections in Ukraine, it is known when Yanukovych was Yushchenko's opponent. Then it all began. Now, these are the consequences, let's say, of the beginning that we are witnessing. Unfortunately, our children, our military, men, women, and young people are dying … But I am sure that victory will be ours, we will defeat this disease, which is now approaching the whole world," - said Danilov.
