According to the head of the region, heavy fighting is going on in Lugansk region, but Ukrainian defenders are repelling the occupiers.
This was stated by the head of the Lugansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai in a comment to Channel 24.
"The whole battalion refused to go on the offensive. They just see with the naked eye what is happening, and now our guys are already starting to work with artillery in the direction where the occupiers were trying to gain a foothold," Gaidai said.
He added that the Russian military fears Belogorovka even more than Chornobayevka, but they still go there and find only death there.
"If you compare Belogorovka with Chornobayevka, it is resting in some directions because there is such stubbornness and stupidity. Because how else to explain how to climb and put pontoon bridges in the same place, where almost 90 units of heavy equipment have already been smashed. There they burned a bunch of orcs and sank some of their gondolas. Another helicopter was shot down. It's just awful, and they're still trying to do something there," Gaidai said.
