Three Belarusian banks have been officially disconnected from SWIFT
On March 20, 2022, three large Belarusian banks were disconnected from the SWIFT system.
As reported in the Telegram-channel Naviny.by, from March 20, 2022, Belagroprombank‘s bank cards can no longer be paid in the European Union.
Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Dabrabyt Bank were also disconnected from the SWIFT system.
Earlier, the Development Bank of Belarus reported that the disconnection from the system is temporary and “measures will be taken to use alternative systems of financial information to ensure timely fulfillment of obligations.”
