Odessa region expects 4-5 million tourists this year
This year, Odessa region plans to be a 100% tourist center of Ukraine. According to experts, 4-5 million tourists are expected to receive during the season. This was stated by the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maksym Kutsyi.
"If we gradually get out of quarantine, then there should be no special warnings or measures. It is to be hoped that we will return to normal life in the near future, perhaps with some restrictions on travel abroad, for example, but not within the country. If there is a collective immunity to COVID-19, this issue will be resolved"

Maksym Kutsyi also added that air connections with other countries of the world are currently suspended. That is why the main flow of tourists is expected in the Odessa region.
He also stressed that the regional authorities will follow all the recommendations provided by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health. Namely, the number of people who can be in public places, resort areas and restaurants after the resumption of their work.
