The government of Turkey intends to hold a food summit this year, according to Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar, as reported by Yeni Åžafak.

"After the peace summit in Switzerland, a major summit on food security will be organized in Turkey. The presidents also discussed this issue on March 8. As part of the peace formula, Turkey has taken on this point. We expect this event to be held either in Ankara or Istanbul this year," he stated.

Bodnar emphasized that the agreements signed on March 8 during the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are important both for the presidents themselves and for Ukraine.

"President Zelensky will be glad to welcome Erdogan to Ukraine. We also plan a visit by the Prime Minister," he added.
