The UAV successfully launched an IHA-230 supersonic missile 140 km from its take-off site in the Tekirdag province in the Sinop region, located in the Black Sea region. According to Baykar Makin's technical director Selçuk Bayraktar, this was the first successful launch of such an unmanned aerial vehicle in Turkey.

Recall that Akinci UAVs use engines manufactured by Ukrainian companies Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise and Motor Sich JSC.
