Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has proposed a plan for Ukraine and Europe, which includes a new source of funding for aid to Ukraine.

This was reported with reference to the Polish government head on the social network X.

"Enough talking, it’s time to act!" Tusk stated, addressing European countries.

The Polish Prime Minister’s plan includes:

  • Let’s finance our aid for Ukraine from the Russian frozen assets.
  • Let’s strengthen air policing, the Baltic sentry and the EU borders with Russia.
  • Let’s swiftly adopt new fiscal rules to finance the EU security and defence.

It is worth noting that EU countries have not yet used frozen Russian assets to aid Ukraine, only the profits generated from these assets.
