On the night of January 12 (starting at 6:00 p.m. on January 11), the Russian forces launched an attack using 156 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as other types of drones, from the following directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 110 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 135 UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types and other drones over the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.

Hits by 16 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, and the fall of downed drones (debris) was recorded at two locations.
