Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krikliy held talks with the Head of the executive power of the city of Ganja (Azerbaijan) Niyazi Bayramov on the possibility of opening direct flights from Ganja to Odessa.

The meeting took place within the framework of the official visit of the Ukrainian government delegation to Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in various areas, in particular, strengthening regional cooperation and the possibility of starting direct flights from Ganja-Odessa, which will contribute not only to the development of tourism, but also to strengthen business contacts and exchange students.

The parties also discussed possible cooperation in the implementation of promising infrastructure projects. "Ukrainian companies are ready to participate in the implementation of projects important for Azerbaijan," Krikliy said during the meeting.

Among the possible areas of cooperation, the Minister named the design and construction of industrial, road transport and energy infrastructure, the development of high-voltage power transmission systems, participation in the modernization of railways and the supply of railway equipment, metallurgical products, and the like.

These are the areas that are based not only on the sectoral specialization of our economy, but also on the extensive experience of the leading Ukrainian companies in foreign countries, including with Azerbaijani partners.
