Ukraine and Canada will continue negotiations on expanding the Free Trade Agreement between the countries in the field of services and investments after the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine. This agreement was reached during an online meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka with the President of the Canadian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Zenon Potoczny, and representatives of Canadian business.
âWe are grateful to our Canadian partners for their constant participation in ensuring the operation of funds for the restoration and transformation of the Ukrainian economy, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and restoring destroyed property and infrastructure. We are also interested in expanding trade with Canada through further liberalization of the Free Trade Agreement in services and investments,â Taras Kachka said.
The parties also agreed to continue an active dialogue on attracting Canadian economic, financial and expert assistance to critical sectors of the Ukrainian economy, as well as on further cooperation in expanding the presence of Canadian investors in Ukraine.
