On the night of April 22, 2025 (from 21:00 on April 21), the Russian forces launched an attack using 54 strike UAVs (drones simulating other types) – launch areas included: Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea).
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, the confirmed downing of 38 Shahed-type strike UAVs (and drones of other types) was reported across the east, north, south, and center of the country.
16 imitation drones were lost from radar without causing damage.
As a result of the attack, Odessa and Kyiv regions were affected.
A new wave of Russian attack began at 08:00! Strike UAV groups are entering from the north via Sumy region.
