Ukrainian military has received another batch of Canadian Gurkha armored vehicles designed for evacuating the wounded.

Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation, stated that an additional four Gurkha armored vehicles from United24 have been sent to the front lines. These Gurkha vehicles are equipped for medical purposes to aid in the rescue of injured personnel.

"In total, we have purchased 13 armored vehicles from our Canadian partners, and 11 of them are already in Ukraine," explained Mykhailo Fedorov.

The tactical armored vehicles are manufactured by Terradyne Armored Vehicles Inc. in the Canadian city of Ontario.

The Gurkha is available in three different variants, each built on the Ford F-550 Super Duty chassis. The name pays homage to the Gurkhas, Nepalese soldiers who serve in the British and Indian armies, as well as the Nepalese army.
