On Friday, August 4th, Ukraine published a coastal warning declaring the waters of six Russian ports in the Black Sea as being under military threat.
The coastal warning No. 118, issued by the State Hydrography, specifies that it pertains to the waters of the internal and external roads of the ports of Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Tuapse, Sochi, and Taman.
The basis for this declaration is the order No. 5 of the Ukrainian Naval Forces dated August 4, 2023.
We remind that after Russia's withdrawal from the "grain initiative," they stated that all vessels heading to Ukrainian seaports from July 20th would be considered by the aggressor as potential carriers of military cargo.
In response, Ukraine issued a reciprocal statement, warning that all vessels heading to Russian ports or occupied Ukrainian ports would be regarded as carrying military cargo.
On the evening of Friday, August 4th, due to an attack by marine drones in the Kerch Strait, the Russian chemical tanker "SIG" was damaged. Russia claims that there was no fuel spillage from the tanker.
