The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to include the “Agro Innovation Hub” industrial park in the Cherkasy region in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks, according to the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
It is noted that the park was established within the Uman urban territorial community in the Uman district of Cherkasy region for a period of 30 years. It covers an area of 22.9435 hectares.
It is planned that food industry enterprises will be located within the park. Priority will be given to the processing and preservation of potatoes, fruits, and vegetables; oil production; production of flour and cereal products, starch, bakery and pasta products; as well as ready-made meals and instant food products.
The initiator of the industrial park is DK Industrial LLC. Nearly 412 million UAH is planned to be raised from various sources to develop and equip the park.
In particular, funding will include investments from the park’s initiator, state incentives, investments from future participants, and other legally permitted sources.
Currently, there are 121 industrial parks listed in the register.
