During his working visit to Brussels, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with representatives of Thales Belgium, a company that has provided vital support to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion.
The parties discussed countermeasures against Russian drone attacks, including the supply of missiles for air defense systems. Special attention was given to the potential localization of production in Ukraine.
"It is important for us to continue dialogue not only with the governments of partner states but also with defense companies willing to help Ukraine strengthen its security," Umerov emphasized.
The Defense Minister thanked Thales Belgium for its firm stance and readiness to implement concrete solutions.
