At the IDEX 2025 arms exhibition, Ukrainian manufacturer UKR ARMO TECH introduced the new GYURZA-O2 armored vehicle, designed for modern combat conditions.

The GYURZA-O2 is built on a specialized chassis and offers protection according to NATO standards STANAG 4569 at levels 2 and 3. It withstands armor-piercing bullets of up to 7.62×54 mm, shrapnel from 155 mm shells at a distance of 80 meters, and the detonation of anti-tank mines with up to 8 kg of TNT under its reinforced V-shaped hull.

Technical specifications:

  • Cummins six-cylinder diesel engine with electronic control.
  • Automatic transmission and reinforced suspension, adapted for various climatic conditions.
  • Built-in Electronic Warfare (EW) system—protection against FPV drones and guided threats.
  • Capability to install UAV detection systems and counter-drone measures.
  • Mine-resistant seating with shock absorption for the crew.
  • Additional fragmentation protection and external mesh armor for enhanced survivability.

The company has confirmed that GYURZA-O2 has received NATO Stock Numbers (NSN), enabling it to be exported to allied nations. This certification affirms the vehicle’s compliance with international defense procurement requirements.

It is reported that Ukrainian Defense Forces will receive this armored vehicle in large quantities later this year.
