During the night of 21 November (starting from 18:00 on 20 November), the Russian forces launched an attack using 115 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from several directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea. Around 70 of them were Shaheds.

Ukraine’s air defences — including aviation units, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare teams, drone units, and mobile fire groups — responded to the attack.

According to preliminary information, as of 09:00, air defence forces shot down or suppressed 95 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types over the northern, southern, and eastern regions.

Nineteen strike drones hit 12 locations, while debris from downed UAVs fell in four locations. Civilian infrastructure and private homes in Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odessa regions suffered the most damage. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties.

Additionally, the Russian forces struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with guided air bombs. Five people were killed, and multi-storey residential buildings, a market area, a supermarket, and several vehicles were damaged.
