Ukraine’s air defense neutralized 452 Russian aerial targets

During the night of 25 November (from 18:00 on 24 November), the Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using strike UAVs and air-, sea-, and ground-launched missiles. In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected and tracked 486 aerial threats — 22 missiles and 464 UAVs of various types:

  • 464 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types launched from Shatalovo, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea) — around 250 of them were Shaheds;
  • 4 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aero-ballistic missiles (launch area: Ryazan region, Russia);
  • 7 Iskander-K cruise missiles (launch area: Kursk region, Russia);
  • 8 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Black Sea);
  • 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area: Bryansk region, Russia).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 10:00, Ukraine’s air defense shot down or suppressed 452 aerial targets:

  • 438 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types;
  • 1 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aero-ballistic missile;
  • 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
  • 5 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles.

There were recorded impacts from missiles and 26 strike UAVs across 15 locations, as well as debris from downed targets falling in 12 locations.
