The Ukrainian Air Force has destroyed a bridge over the Syeim River in the Kursk region.

The relevant video was released by the Commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.

“The Air Force is actively participating in combat operations in the Kursk direction. Ukrainian pilots are conducting precision strikes on enemy strongholds, concentrations of equipment, as well as on logistic centers and supply routes of the opponent,” the statement reads.

The video, captured by a reconnaissance drone, shows the moment of a powerful explosion and the collapse of the bridge.

The bridge, along with two others located near the settlements of Zvanne and Karyzh, were the only road bridges over the Syeim River in the area. Additionally, there is one railway bridge.

If these structures are destroyed, part of the Hlushkivskyi district could be cut off from the main Russian forces from the north. Meanwhile, to the west lies the Russian-Ukrainian border, and to the east, advancing Ukrainian forces.
