Russian forces attacked Kyiv with two ballistic missiles, which were destroyed, according to a statement by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
"At around 10:30 am, the enemy struck Kyiv with two ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea. The targets were destroyed, and the type is being determined," the statement said.
The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that this was the third attack by Russia on Kyiv in the last 5 days. According to local authorities, as a result of the missile strike, a non-residential building was damaged in the Pechersk district, a multi-story building was damaged in the Solomianskyi district. In the Dniprovskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, falling debris was recorded. Five people were injured.
An air raid alert was issued around 10:30 in several regions. Sounds of explosions in Kyiv were heard almost immediately after the danger was announced.
