Ukrainian food producers have raised prices by 20% over the past year

Wholesale prices of industrial products in December 2024 increased by 27.6% compared to December of the previous year. Prices within Ukraine grew by 28.9%, while prices abroad rose by 15.9%.

This is reported by the State Statistics Service.

According to the statistical agency, prices in the production of food products, beverages, and tobacco products increased by 21.0%, with prices within Ukraine rising by 18.6% and abroad by 32.0%. The largest price increases were in the production of dairy products, which rose by 24.0%, including 23.1% within Ukraine, and in meat production, which grew by 17.6%, including 18.3% within Ukraine.

In the production of bread, bakery, and flour products, prices increased by 13.1%, including 13.3% within Ukraine.

Beverage producers raised prices by 5.9%, including 5.7% within Ukraine.

Sugar production prices dropped by 1.5% over the year, but within Ukraine, they increased by 0.1%.

Wholesale prices of producers are transferred to store shelf prices with a delay of a few months.
