Ukrainian Minister of Foreign affairs proposed a free trade zone with the United States

Ukraine promotes the project of a visa-free regime with the United States and proposed to create a free trade zone.

My goal is to reach an agreement on a free trade zone between Ukraine and the United States in the coming years.

Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine

The Head of Ukrainian diplomacy said this on the air of the Freedom of Speech program on ICTV, Suspilne reports. He claimed that the creation of a free trade zone will send a signal to the whole world that Ukraine is open for business.

We all understand that in order to fight, we need money. And it is desirable to earn them due to the fact that you have a strong economy that allows you to create reserves. And, like Poland, then spend them on defense.

According to Kuleba, the issue of signing the relevant agreement was initiated within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Commission, which the countries activated following the visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States.
