Ukrainian startups secure investment deals at Viva Technology 2026 in Paris

A Ukrainian delegation of startups showcased their solutions and secured new investment opportunities at Viva Technology 2026, held on 17–20 June in Paris. The event brought together thousands of startups, technology companies, and government representatives from around the world.

Ukraine was represented by the Ukrainian Startup Fund together with a delegation of 8 startups and three student projects, selected with support from EU4Innovation East.

According to the delegation, the participating startups achieved a range of results, including investment negotiations, new international partnerships, and industry recognition.

Among the most notable outcomes, Hydratico won first place at the EU4Innovation East Pitch Contest, receiving €10,000 in funding and entering discussions with investment funds regarding a potential €250,000 fundraising round.

 

 

Z1RO received the Audience Favorite award at the VivaTech Pitch Contest and is currently negotiating approximately €500,000 in potential investment while exploring entry into new markets.

Sec-TA reported ongoing discussions to secure €500,000 in funding and expand operations into France, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Odyssea is in talks with potential investors regarding a $500,000 funding round.

Generect secured around 30 investor contacts and is preparing potential partnerships with European companies.

Y-Harvest established connections with investment funds and international cooperatives for future collaboration.

Strimco initiated discussions with French and German government digital transformation agencies.

Ovul reported on-site sales of eight devices during the event and gained new customers.

The Ukrainian Startup Fund said participation in Viva Technology 2026 helped strengthen the international visibility of Ukrainian innovation companies and opened new pathways for investment and cross-border cooperation in key technology sectors.
