URC 2026: €500K funding for water infrastructure upgrade in Khmelnytskyi region

Following the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026) in Gdańsk, a €500,000 grant agreement was signed providing for the reconstruction of the water supply network in the village of Novostavtsi in the Teofipol community of Khmelnytskyi region, said the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin.

“Today, within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk, an important event for Khmelnytskyi region took place – the signing ceremony of a grant agreement, which opens a new stage in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the region,” he noted.

The total project budget amounts to €600,000, of which €500,000 is provided as grant funding.

 

 

According to the head of the regional administration, the agreement was signed between the Centre for Development and International Cooperation of the Republic of Slovenia and the Regional Development Agency of Khmelnytskyi region. The document provides for the implementation of the project “Reconstruction of the water supply network in the village of Novostavtsi of the Teofipol territorial community.”

The project is aimed at ensuring residents have access to high-quality and safe drinking water. It includes modernization of the water supply system, upgrading of worn-out networks and wells, reduction of аварies, and improvement of infrastructure energy efficiency.
