Alexey Botvinov will present his "Visual Piano" Show project within the "Mustonen Fest 2022" in Estonia kontserdisaal, Tallinn on 02 February 2022

Alexey Botvinov is a prominent Ukrainian pianist who has received high acclaim for his Rachmaninov’s interpretations. He has been invited to perform Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” more than 300 times. The concert evening in Tallinn is special – a visual inspired by the music performed is displayed on the cover of a white piano. In the symbiosis of video and classical music, an innovative and modern whole respecting centuries-old musical traditions is born.

Alexey Botvinov performed in over 45 countries. National Artist of Ukraine, in his country’s press he enjoys such words like “symbol of high spirit” or “true mark for authentic sense of music”.

About Alexey Botvinov

November 2015 Alexey Botvinov was awarded the title “People's Artist of Ukraine” – the highest artistic achievement in the Ukraine.

2018 Botvinov performed 12 times “Goldberg Variations” ballet in “La Scala”, Milano, with extraordinary success among audience and music critics. Italian press praised Botvinov performance as “perfect interpretation of Bach masterpiece”, or “white magic on piano” etc.

2018-2019 Botvinov performed several times solo and with orchestras in such venues as Berlin Philharmony, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Zurich Tonhalle MAAG, Hamburg Filharmony, Beethovenhaus Bonn. 2019 Botvinov performed Gershwin and Schulhoff on German Tournee with San Francisco “New Century Orchestra” under baton of Daniel Hope. Recently Botvinov and Hope made recording of Alfred Schnittke pieces for violin and piano at “Deutsche Grammaphon”.

In 2020 Alexey Botvinov became a “Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy” by decision of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
