After the victory in the war with Russia, the security issue in Ukraine will be resolved and rapid economic growth will begin, so Ukrainians will willingly return to their homeland from abroad. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with media representatives on the Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers.

As the Head of State noted, in order to guarantee the safety of citizens, Ukraine takes a proactive position with the aim of forming an effective anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense system. In particular, according to him, the NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems received from partners showed a positive result: during the recent massive air attack by Russia, there were ten hits on enemy missiles out of ten launches. The President also noted the effectiveness of the IRIS-T systems.

"I am very grateful to our partners. Because here is an example of help. There are not enough such systems for us. Earlier, Ukraine did not have them, but today ten out of ten - it is a very good result," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to him, there are also agreements with Spain on the provision of HAWK air defense systems to Ukraine. In addition, negotiations with other states about the transfer of these air defense systems are ongoing.

"President Biden knows all the details, we have discussed it with him several times, and there is a result. Scholz also really helped - you see IRIS-T. As well as President Steinmeier - he also helped. Our last meeting was very important, and he did a lot after that. Also, Emmanuel Macron assured me that we will receive air defense and anti-missile defense systems from him," the Head of State said.

According to the President, the negotiation process with the Italian government to obtain one more system is ongoing.

"This is what we are working on globally to protect the skies of Ukraine," he said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine closely cooperates with international partners in order to strengthen the protection of its energy infrastructure.

"And they really help us a lot in terms of agreements on the supply of various generators, transformers, support, so that we can have this or that alternative," he said.

The Head of State emphasized that today the main focus is on providing Ukrainians with electricity as much as possible. In particular, an alternative power supply system is being developed. Energy workers and employees of the State Emergency Service are doing everything to protect the existing infrastructure and restore damaged objects.

According to the President, while the risks of Russian air attacks remain, the return of Ukrainians who are currently in other countries is a personal decision of each person.

"If our Armed Forces protected the sky completely today, shooting down 90-95%, we would tell people: this is a risk, but we tell you frankly that the economy of the state is not viable without you," he explained.

However, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his belief that after Ukraine's victory in the war with Russia, Ukrainians will quickly return to their homeland, as the security issue will be resolved, and rapid economic growth will begin in the country.

"There will be a boom in human capital and an economic boom in Ukraine. For example, the World Bank already sees how much capital can come here. Even today, many investors believe in the victory of Ukraine and want to come when the war ends. But they really want to have a serious international platform for business insurance, and we talked about it with the Vice President of the World Bank," the Head of State said.

"If we survive this winter - and we will survive it - we will definitely win this war," summed up the President of Ukraine.
