Since the beginning of April, the Russian army has used nearly 2,800 aviation bombs, over 1,400 strike drones, and about 60 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, against Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Facebook.

"Every day and night, Russian terror continues. Since the beginning of April, the Russian army has already used nearly 2,800 aviation bombs, over 1,400 strike drones, most of which are Shaheds, and about 60 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles," Zelensky emphasized.

He noted that in Sumy, 38 people are being treated in medical facilities after yesterday's Russian ballistic missile strike, including nine children. Eleven people are in critical condition, including three children. Efforts are being made to provide maximum assistance. Yesterday's strike resulted in 34 deaths and 119 injuries. Unfortunately, two children died, and another 15 were wounded.

"Seven more people were injured last night in Odessa during a Shahed drone strike. Russian forces also targeted Sloviansk, Uman, Kharkiv, Beryslav, and other cities and villages. The damaged sites were all civilian objects: houses, stores, service centers," the President highlighted.

He expressed gratitude to all the services and individuals involved in saving lives and protecting people.

In his view, only real pressure on Russia can stop the terror.

"We need meaningful sanctions on sectors that fund the Russian killing machine. Those who brought this war must stop and answer for their actions – that is the just thing to do," the President stated, thanking "everyone around the world who understands this and helps our defense."
