The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced the winners of the Cybersecurity Innovations Hackathon, an event that brought together the best Ukrainian cybersecurity and IT specialists. The event aimed to develop innovative solutions for protecting Ukraine's cyberspace and uncovering new talents.
More than 200 participants, including developers, engineers, cybersecurity researchers, students, and experienced professionals, formed 23 teams.
Participants competed in three areas: developing AI, machine learning, IoT, and Big Data solutions; protecting industrial control systems; and a secret challenge from the hackathon partner.
The winners of the hackathon are:
- Team A42: Developed a scalable ML and Big Data solution for detecting vulnerabilities, data leaks, and phishing sites.
- Team CyberForce: Presented a secure 5G network model based on AI for monitoring Ukraine's critical infrastructure, including the energy sector.
- Team Fix It: Created a "private" LTE network for emergency services to secure communication and fully replace radio usage.
The winners will receive mentorship from the USAID project "Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure" and residency at UNIT.City.
