Russian forces launched a new wave of drone, artillery, and aerial attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours, killing at least two civilians and injuring more than 35 others, according to regional authorities.
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 12 others injured, including a child, as Russian forces continued drone and artillery attacks across dozens of settlements. According to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin, the attacks affected nearly 40 communities, including Kherson, Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, and Velyka Oleksandrivka.
The shelling damaged a multi-story residential building, 17 private homes, a gas station, a mobile communications tower, a gas pipeline, an agricultural enterprise, a store, and private vehicles.
In neighboring Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops carried out 808 strikes on 44 settlements over a 24-hour period. Regional authorities reported eight people injured in attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the surrounding district.
The assault included 19 airstrikes, 553 drone attacks—most of them involving FPV drones—seven multiple-launch rocket system strikes, and 229 artillery attacks. Officials received 109 reports of damage to residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles.
Dnipropetrovsk region also came under heavy attack. Russian forces launched nearly 30 strikes involving drones and guided aerial bombs across four districts, killing one civilian and injuring 16 others.
The deadliest damage was recorded in the Synelnykove district, where attacks sparked fires, partially destroyed two homes, damaged several others, and hit a farm, outbuildings, vehicles, and a store. One person was killed and three injured.
In Pavlohrad, 12 people were wounded after attacks damaged a residential building and a rescue service facility. Another civilian was injured in the Kryvyi Rih district.
In Sumy region, Russian strikes targeted infrastructure in the city of Konotop on the morning of June 11. According to Mayor Artem Semenikhin, the attack damaged transportation infrastructure, disrupted electricity, water, and gas supplies in parts of the city, and damaged residential buildings.
A 41-year-old woman suffered a shrapnel wound to her leg and received medical treatment without hospitalization.
Meanwhile, Kharkiv and 21 settlements across Kharkiv region were targeted by Russian drones. Eleven civilians were injured in attacks on the city, including men aged 50 and 58 and women ranging in age from 23 to 77.
Russian forces deployed Geran-2 and Molniya drones, FPV systems, and other unmanned aerial vehicles against the region. Residential buildings, vehicles, garages, educational facilities, businesses, warehouses, and emergency medical infrastructure were damaged. An additional civilian was injured in the village of Kozacha Lopan after an explosion involving an unidentified device.
The latest attacks underscore Russia’s continued use of long-range drones and artillery against civilian areas across Ukraine, even as front-line fighting remains concentrated in the east and south of the country. According to the figures released by regional authorities, at least two civilians were killed and 37 others injured during the reporting period.
