After counting 99.65% of the ballots in Moldova’s parliamentary elections, the ruling pro-European Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) is in the lead, according to data from Moldova’s Central Election Commission reported by Ukrinform.
PAS has so far received 50.06% of the votes.
In second place is the pro-Russian “Patriotic Bloc” with 24.25% of the votes, followed by the “Alternative” bloc with 7.98%. Also entering parliament are the Eurosceptic “Our Party” (6.21%) and the pro-European “Democracy at Home” party (5.63%).
Other formations, according to preliminary data, do not pass the parliamentary threshold.
Voter turnout stood at 52.17%.
