Olympic champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh kicked off the 2025 competition season at the Udin Jump Development tournament in Udine, Italy.

The Ukrainian cleared 1.94 meters on her first attempt, securing the championship title. She then tried to clear 1.98 meters, but all three attempts were unsuccessful.

It’s worth noting that Mahuchikh last competed at the Udine tournament in 2021, where she also won gold by clearing 2 meters.

  • Liliana Batori (Hungary) – 1.91 m
  • Idea Pieroni (Italy) – 1.88 m

Last year was the most successful for the Ukrainian track and field star. She became an Olympic champion in high jump, broke a world record that had stood since 1987, and won the Diamond League for the third consecutive time. Recently, Yaroslava was also named the best athlete of the year in Europe and the world.
