According to preliminary data, in March 2024, Ukraine exported goods worth $3.2 billion. The total volume of domestically produced exports amounted to 11.8 million tons.

This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko.

"In the first quarter of 2024, Ukrainian exports remained relatively stable, approaching the level of January 2022 - the month preceding the large-scale invasion. In physical terms, this is about 12 million tons, and in monetary terms, it's over $3 billion monthly. In March, it is estimated that goods worth 11.8 million tons were exported, amounting to $3.2 billion," noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

It is worth noting that the increase in non-commodity exports through access to markets and export financing is one of the three key directions of the "Made in Ukraine" policy.

On March 1st, during a visit to the United Kingdom, the Ukrainian delegation led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko announced the expansion of the UNITY affordable ship insurance program in London. This program is implemented jointly with Marsh McLennan and Lloyd’s of London in collaboration with the Government of Ukraine. Under the program, not only maritime transportation of grain and other essential food products can be insured, but also vessels carrying all non-military cargo, including container shipments.
