President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybyha. New ambassadors of Ukraine were appointed.

The president wrote about this on Telegram.

“After reports from the military and the Minister of Internal Affairs this morning, I held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Office team. We finalized the long process of selecting candidates for ambassador appointments. I appointed 16 ambassadors,” Zelensky reported.

According to him, personal tasks and performance evaluation criteria were set for each diplomat.

“Today, in a meeting format with the ambassadors, we will define the key priorities of Ukrainian diplomacy for the next six months,” he said.

Also Volodymyr Zelensky will hold the Ukrainian Ambassadors’ Conference on July 21. The conference is titled "From the Strength of Diplomacy to the Diplomacy of Strength."

This was reported by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybyha on X (Twitter).

Sybyha stated that dozens of Ukrainian ambassadors abroad, along with him, visited the Zaporizhzhia region on July 20, where the frontline runs through. The ambassadors visited frontline positions as well as the Orikhiv district and the city of Orikhiv.
