Vyacheslav Klymov, co-founder of NOVA group, reported that on the evening of March 4, one of the Nova Poshta branches in Odessa was destroyed by a Russian drone attack, resulting in the burning of hundreds of parcels.
"Unfortunately, all the packages — over 600 items with an estimated total value of 1 million UAH — were lost in the fire. We will compensate the losses to our clients, as we always do in such cases," Klymov noted.
However, by morning, the company resumed operations from a new location.
"Our team quickly transitioned to a new shift and is already processing clients' parcels," Klymov added.
To restore service so quickly, the company implemented a well-rehearsed emergency action plan, which allowed them to deploy a mobile unit within hours.
"This mobile branch, built from a BDF container, was specifically designed for emergencies when a facility is either destroyed or severely damaged," the businessman explained.
