On January 21–22, a NATO Military Committee meeting will take place in Brussels, during which a Ukraine-NATO Council meeting is scheduled.

This was reported by the Alliance’s press service.

Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chair of the Military Committee, will preside over the meeting, attended by 32 representatives of NATO member countries, as well as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexus Grinkevich, and the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, Admiral Pierre Vandier.

The chiefs of NATO general staffs will also meet with their counterparts from NATO partner countries in the Indo-Pacific region, Georgia, and Ukraine.

Seven sessions are planned.

The Ukraine-NATO Council meeting will take place on January 22 as part of the fifth session. During the NATO-Ukraine Council, the chiefs of general staffs will discuss the situation in Ukraine and further NATO support for Kyiv, including the NATO Support and Training Program for Ukraine (NSATU) and the Joint Analysis, Training, and Education Center (JATEC).

The Chair of the EU Military Committee (CEUMC) has also been invited to participate in this meeting.
