American actor Sean Penn visited the servicemen of the 3rd Special Operations Regiment, which is stationed in Kropyvnytskyi.
This was reported on the official Facebook page of the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment named after Sviatoslav the Brave.
It is noted that this is already the fourth visit by the actor during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since 2022, he has been visiting Ukraine every year to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian people.
"Despite a lot of what politicians are doing, I believe in each of you and I am grateful to you for being the best example of what we all strive to be. You are defending not just your country – you are truly defending the entire world. And I know that you will win," he said.
Sean Penn is an American actor and film director. He is a two-time Academy Award winner, in 2004 and 2009. A devoted friend of Ukraine, he has been awarded the Order of Merit of the 3rd degree for his significant personal contribution to strengthening intergovernmental cooperation, supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and his substantial contribution to promoting Ukraine worldwide.
