Air defence neutralizes 92 Russian drones in latest overnight attack

During the night of June 20 (starting from 18:00 on June 19), the Russian forces attacked with 99 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones, launched from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

The aerial attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data as of 08:00, Ukraine's air defense forces shot down or suppressed 92 UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones, in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

Hits by seven strike UAVs were recorded at three locations. In addition, debris from downed drones fell at three locations.
