"Two hundred missiles and approximately the same number of suicide bombers in just a couple of days – that's a tremendous resource. Russia had been accumulating missiles throughout the entire autumn.
The result?
Whichever aspect you consider, it can only be described as a failure for the Kremlin.
Firstly, the world is already starting to forget the level of barbarism Russians are capable of. Now, there is a stark contrast: Ukraine, with precision missiles, destroyed a Russian ship – Russia attacked maternity hospitals, residential buildings, stores, killing dozens of civilians.
It's a terrorist state as it is. It wages war against children, the elderly, civilian infrastructure, publicly confesses to it, and takes pride in its villainy.
Secondly, in Moscow, there is a clear intention to cripple Ukrainian energy infrastructure by the onset of winter. Similar attacks last year led to widespread power outages. The situation is evident now: not even 'kinzhal' missiles are helping.
Russians have accumulated several hundred more missiles for massed attacks; they are capable of organizing several more waves in a short time. We need to be mentally prepared for them. However, there is not even a hint that they have managed to overwhelm Ukrainian air defense so far.
Yes, there are still vulnerable territories. But the Kremlin is unable to solve the problem. And at this rate, soon they will be forced to accumulate missiles for months again.
Thirdly, by committing blatant war crimes and attacking peaceful cities, Russians are trying to force the Ukrainian command to weaken troop cover and relocate air defense. They want Ukraine to abandon operations that, in just a couple of days, cost Russia 5 aircraft. It means they are hurting badly. It means we need to continue.
In summary:
1) To the West: Thank you very much for providing air defense systems. The strategy of building up Ukrainian air defense capabilities is working. It has already saved many lives. It's great that Japan joined in. Britain reacted very rightly. We need to continue, we need more means of defense, especially against ballistic missiles.
However, this will always be insufficient unless we: a) lift restrictions on the use of Western weapons over Russian territory; b) finally address the supply of Western components for Russian missiles; c) provide aviation with the necessary parameters for detection and engagement; d) provide Taurus missiles and similar systems in adequate quantities.
These solutions are overdue, and they need to be implemented.
2) To the Russians: Russian aviation destroyed a whole village in the Voronezh region. This is not a coincidence. Remember: recently, a military criminal killed the father of the chief church propagandist. These are signs: you have done so much evil that the cup is overflowing. You are cursed. Committing atrocities with impunity is unacceptable. And you know perfectly well how it works. Those who commit evil won't suffer, but those who are nearby.
With each passing day, the Russian army will cause more harm to Russia itself. Every attack on Ukraine will bring more casualties to Russians. You sold your relatives to the army, and it turns out you bought a war on credit. You'll have to pay the price."
