A new industrial park, 'SOLVA-TECH,' will be established in the town of Svaliava, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region. The decision to include this park in the Register of Industrial Parks was made by the government on March 7.
"Industrial park 'SOLVA-TECH' will promote investment in woodworking, the development of modern furniture manufacturing, and the creation of new jobs in the region. Its activities will contribute to the growth of Zakarpattia's industrial potential," said Vitalii Kindratov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
In 2025, this will be the fourth park added to the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine, and the eleventh in Zakarpattia region.
The creation of the industrial park is initiated by the limited liability company "Solva-Eco." The park will operate for 30 years on an area of 10.0032 hectares.
To implement the development concept of the "SOLVA-TECH" industrial park, nearly 344.8 million UAH will be invested from various sources. The park's operations are expected to create up to 400 jobs in areas such as:
- Wood processing and the production of wood and cork products (excluding furniture)
- Furniture manufacturing
- Production of basic organic chemicals
- Production of construction metal structures and parts of structures
- Alternative energy
- Scientific and technical activities
