Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine’s State Special Transport Service, acting on instructions from the Ministry of Defence, has installed more than 1,560 km of anti-drone protection along key logistics routes, the Defence Ministry reported.
According to the ministry, nearly 170 km of anti-drone protection was installed in frontline regions in September alone. In addition, more than 106 km of roads were repaired.
“Overall, since restoration work began in April, routine repairs and maintenance have been carried out on more than 660 km of roads. Work is currently continuing on eight sections, while it has already been fully completed on 50 sections,” the Defence Ministry added.
At the beginning of September, it was reported that the State Special Transport Service had installed 1,382.6 km of anti-drone protection along key logistics routes since the beginning of 2026.
According to the Defence Ministry, 213.1 km of anti-drone protection was installed in frontline regions in August. In addition, 129.3 km of roads were repaired during the month.
