Belarus has received a batch of Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems, which will be used to protect Minsk. These systems have been modified by Russian specialists.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
According to the Belarusian Ministry, the received systems can simultaneously strike 16 targets approaching from any direction at speeds up to 730 m/s, at ranges of up to 12 km and altitudes of up to 10 km, both day and night, and in all weather conditions.
The systems were delivered to Belarus after Russian engineers upgraded them based on their experience from the war against Ukraine. The systems will be deployed for the defense of Minsk.
"The arrival of this new batch of anti-aircraft missile systems is a prime example of the fruitful military-technical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in enhancing the unified regional air defense system," the country's Ministry of Defense stated.
