On Monday, March 24, Belarus began its second military readiness check of the year.
This was reported by the Belarusian Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel.
"Today, the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus initiated a combat readiness check for the armed forces," the ministry stated.
It was noted that the personnel of one of the military units is tasked with carrying out a series of measures to prepare equipment and armaments for training and combat tasks. This includes loading material supplies and moving to one of the military training grounds.
"Subsequently, units involved in the check will carry out engineering, camouflage, security, and defense measures in the designated area, as well as perform control firing exercises with standard weapons," the ministry added.
The Ministry of Defense also mentioned that to "create a combat-like environment in line with the experience of modern military conflicts," both strike and reconnaissance drones, as well as aviation, are planned to be used.
