British Prime Minister Boris Johnson received the title of honorary citizen of Odessa.

Trukhanov spoke about this in an interview with the BBC.

“We very much appreciate the help of your country, your Prime Minister. Therefore, I signed an order to award Boris Johnson with Grigory Marazli Honorary Badges of I, II, III degrees,” he said.

Thus, Johnson automatically receives the title of honorary citizen of Odessa.

According to Trukhanov, if the entire world community had taken the same position as the people of Britain, the Ukrainians would have defeated the invaders long ago.

“To emphasize is the struggle of the entire civilized community against fascism version 2.0, and in this struggle, Mr. Johnson will become the first honorary citizen of the city - a subject of Great Britain, for the entire existence of the award - since 1862," he said.
