The autumn-winter period is traditionally "hot" for boxers, and the end of this year will be no exception. The audience, who missed the big fights due to the lockdown by Covid-19, returns to the arenas, making it possible to organise top fights with Ukrainian boxers' participation.

Until the end of the year, we will see several top fights with the participation of Ukrainians. Vasily Lomachenko will meet with Richard Commey, Artem Dalakyan will defend his championship belt, and Viktor Postol may return to the ring after a long break. In general, there will be something to look at.

Vasily Lomachenko

The former world champion still hopes to get revenge on American Teofimo Lopez. As we remember, the Ukrainian lost all his titles in October last year, and since then, he has been trying to prove that the defeat in the fight against Lopez is a common accident.

In the summer, Hi-Tech beat Japanese challenger Masayoshi Nakatani. The fight ended with a knockout in the ninth round. Vasily did not experience difficulties in this battle. Nakatani is a good boxer, but he does not reach the level of Lopez at all. By the way, at one time, Masayoshi also boxed with Teofimo. The fight took place in 2019 and ended with the American's victory by unanimous decision.

In his next fight, Vasily will face another ex-opponent of Lopez - Richard Commey. The fight will take place on December 11 in New York.

Artem Dalakian

(WBA World Flyweight Champion)

The Ukrainian champion finally found out the name of his next opponent. The WBA title holder will fight against Panamanian boxer Luis Concepción. For Dalakian, this will be the fifth belt defense.

Both boxers have not appeared in the ring for a long time, and it is not yet clear in what condition they are suitable for a face-to-face confrontation. But be that as it may, Dalakian has more chances of winning the fight. In favour of Artem is said that he is taller (seven centimeters) and younger (two years) than his opponent.

Will Dalakian be able to defend his title again? We will find out very soon - the fight will take place on November 20 in Kyiv.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko

( #2 in the WBC ranking in the middleweight)

Sergiy Derevyanchenko, who lost three times in championship fights, did not appear in the ring for a long time. The last fight with his participation took place in September 2020; then the Ukrainian lost to Jermall Charlo by a split decision.

This fall, Sergiy is supposed to fight ex-world champion Jaime Munguia, but the Mexican refused to fight with Derevyanchenko. Instead of organising this fight, Munguia's team switched to negotiating a duel against Gabriel Rosado. Derevyanchenko is still without an opponent.

Maxim Prodan

Undefeated Maxim Prodan, developing his career in Italy, fought on September 25 in the undercard of the duel between Alexander Usik and Anthony Joshua in London.

The Ukrainian lost to the Albanian Florian Mark. At stake was Prodan's IBF International welterweight belt. There is no doubt that now Maxim will try to return to the victorious path as soon as possible. This winter he may have another fight.

Sergey Bogachuk

(#10 in the WBC ranking in the first middleweight)

In mid-September, Sergey Bogachuk defeated Rafael Igbokwe by technical knockout. The fight lasted until the sixth round, after which the judge stopped the beating of the American and gave Bogachuk an early victory.
Thanks to this result, Bogachuk brought the number of his victories in the professional ring to a round figure and rose in the WBC ranking by three lines at once.

It is unlikely that the Ukrainian will have another fight this year. However, one should not exclude the appearance of Bogachuk in the ring.
