The Ukrainian company A3Tech-Ukraine, which performs large-scale assembly and partial manufacturing of Croatian DOK-ING machines, has received certification for the heavy mine clearance vehicle MV-10. The enterprise has orders to produce eight such machines, with the first unit already delivered to Ukrainian sappers using funds from the UNITED24 initiative.

"It is important for us that Ukrainian enterprises manufacture components and assemble machines that demine our land. There is a high demand from sappers for such equipment for humanitarian demining, and we hope that with the support of partners on one side and the capabilities of Ukrainian manufacturers on the other, we will be able to increase both the number of demining machines operating in the fields and improve their maintenance quality. We also expect that alongside localizing foreign technologies, we will see an increase in Ukrainian developments for demining," said First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

A3Tech currently manufactures up to 40% of the components for the MV-10's working body and plans to increase this to 100% by the end of the year. Two additional Ukrainian companies are subcontracted to contribute parts and trailers for transporting these machines. Overall, A3Tech has the capacity to produce up to 60 MV-10 demining machines per year.

Currently, 17 DOK-ING MV-10 heavy demining machines are operational in Ukraine. Experts from the State Emergency Service, State Special Transport Service, and the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action primarily use these machines in the Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. As of the end of May, these machines have cleared 850 hectares of Ukrainian land and destroyed over 4,500 mines, cluster munitions, and other explosive items.

DOK-ING MV-10 is a heavy demining machine equipped with both a chain mechanism and a milling tool. It is capable of withstanding the detonation of anti-tank mines and is used to clear territories of various types of mines and explosive items. The MV-10 can clear up to 3,000 m² of area per hour and operates effectively on both flat surfaces and slopes.
