The largest Ukrainian drone strike on Russia causes serious concern in the Kremlin.
This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defence on X (Twitter).
According to the statement, on the night of March 10 to 11, Ukraine launched its largest drone strikes on Russia to date. The strikes targeted several Russian regions, including Moscow and surrounding areas.
Reports emerged of fires in Moscow, as well as the temporary suspension of operations at all four Moscow airports and a halt in train services between Moscow and Domodedovo. Russia's Ministry of Defence stated that 337 drones were "intercepted and destroyed," including 91 over Moscow region.
According to British intelligence, these Ukrainian strikes are the latest in a series of drone attacks that have intensified deeper into Russian territory. This highlights the task Russia faces – to protect infrastructure and strategic assets, while also defending its operations on the front lines.
Meanwhile, Russian state media reported on these strikes in minimal detail, likely reflecting the leadership's concern about potential negative reactions from the public.
